This hostel stealing situation is another great reason as to why I LOVE couch surfing. I feel pretty safe with these people and know who took something if something goes missing and that I can take something of equal value until they return it. Of course it wouldn't seem like a big deal, but it seemed like every stop we made there were no stores with either of those items. I finally found some in Munich, at a beauty boutique that cost 30euros. I later found out I really overpaid, but I didn't want to chance going another day feeling gross.
