It is the adventure I have probably looked forward to most in China and finally it has come around. Backpack with Brock is taking on the Great Wall of China. I have heard about it since I was a little kid, seen it in movies, books and online, still nothing could prepare me for the moment I would step onto the first section of the wall. See for yourself – this wall truly is ‘Great’.

    Wow, the Great Wall is not what I envisioned. I didn’t realize it had walking paths. In the US, it would be sealed off due to liability and legal issues. Great to be able to explore the Wall as it is. What an experience.

    Great video Brock, really puts you there! So exhausting!

    We hiked the same bit of wall…or rather from the same starting point, we turned left at the top rather than right.
