Alright, it officially gets cheesy. A video about food…in Hungary!

In any case, the food (and wine) is pretty darn in Hungary! Check out this dish for yourself when you visit. Yum!

back the boat up….look at the decoration on the rim of the plate. Did they kill your dinnner right there!?!? It looks like a blood-splatter off of Dexter!
(yes, this is a vegetarian writing!) BUT I understand all about trying “the thing” wherever you are!

I just got back to Newmarket from Hungary on the 10th. Too bad you weren’t in Hungary 5 days earlier.. we could have met up and I could have helped with your pronunciation, and seeing sights and finding more food (although you did a great job pronouncing Hortobagyi)
Glad you enjoyed the food and the wine (big change from 30 years ago when they only had about 5 different types). Hope you also got to try some langos and some of the desserts.

And Darren.. it’s probably paprika.. they like to use it to decorate as well as in food.

@Darren – Nah, it wasn´t blood. Don´t worry. That would push things too far.

@Kathy – Ah, to bad. The city was great. I worked a long time to get that word right. I failed with most of the other words I tried. Such good wine.
