My week in London, England was the relaxing break I needed after spending nearly a month in Kenya.
Now, with 31 countries and over 9 months of backpacking under my belt, it was time to venture to the final continent of my RTW journey: South America.
My first stop would be the continents largest country, Brazil. I took an overnight flight and landed in Rio de Janerio.
At the beginning of my trip I highlighted in a Friday Five that one of the things I was looking forward to most on the trip was laying on the beaches in Rio. Finally, this dream was about to come true.
In this video we lay on the infamous Copacabana beach, I meet my newest travel buddies – The British Trio – and explore Sugar Loaf Mountain at sunset.

Wow, now *that’s* a sunset!
I have been to Rio now too many times to count and I’ve never seen a sunset like THAT! Incredible!!! I’m sooo excited that you’re doing posts now on my fave country!
@Michael – Incredible isn’t it!?! So beautiful.
@Andi – Really? I think it sets everyday.
More posts to come!
So, you’ve been to my country? That’s cool!
