Paraty, Brazil – Sliding Down A Waterfall

After a fantastic time in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil I headed about 4 hours south to a lovely little place called Paraty.

Complete with beaches, nature and even an old quarter with cobblestone streets, Paraty is a wonderful place to visit.

The best and my personal favourite part about Paraty is the rock waterfall you can slide down called Penha!

Julia, Katie & Leila – the three British girls I met in Rio, join me in this travel video of Paraty, Brazil as we cook up some food, visits the beaches and of course, slide down the waterfall!

Don’t miss the sweet surfing moves of the young local guy near the end!

Have you ever been to Paraty? Do you think you would slide down this slippery rock/waterfall?

So I did a rock waterfall when I was growing up in New Hampshire. But my bathing suit ripped on the rocks. Tres embarassing! Since then, I do rock slides in Jean shorts!

I used to love going to NH and having fun in all the natural rock slides and waterfalls! Those are some of my favorite memories as a kid. Would love to upgrade to Paraty someday!

@Ben – PAHAHA! That would be mortifying. I will keep that in mind next time I’m sliding down a rock.
