After enjoying busy bustling Hanoi, Vietnam, I fly to Luang Prabang, Loas and try it on for size. I rise early in the morning to feed the monks, take in a water fall and get a little wonky from Beer Lao.

not to be a stickler, but I think you are supposed to be seated lower than the monks. not sure if it applies to foreigners but I think its a sign of respect that applies to all.
Market looks interesting ~ does the meet not spoil?
We were at St. Jacob’s Market on the weekend ~ that is a place for Ontarians to go.
Brock, Kannanaski River in Alberta which is fed by the glacial melt waters of the Rockies ~ now that water was COLD ~ thought I was going to die of shock. The water you jumped into looked “refreshing”.
Now you can jump the cliffs at the cottage. : )
@Teresa -i’m sure some of it spoils, though I bet most of it was killed the night before. I also love St. Jacob’s Market. I don’t plan on jumping off any cliffs in the near future.
@Matt – hey Matt, thanks for the comment. You know I thought the same thing. But aside from the girl beside me and a few other locals a lot of people were standing and as I have a bad back and crouching was painful, I opted to follow suit and stand with them. Still perhaps I should have crouched lower. I’ll have to look into that. Comment any time.
judging by the end of that video, certainly sounds like you’ve found the infamous “brit on holiday.”
enjoy, they definitely entertain.
