The Masai Mara, Kenya – Witnessing The Great Migration

For as long as I can remember I have dreamed of experiencing The Great Migration. Over 2 million creatures, from mainly wildebeest, gazelle and zebra, make their way from the Serengeti to the Masai Mara.
This annual expedition, one of the greatest of the animal kingdom, is one of both beauty and tragedy. Crossing the Talek and Mara rivers, many are snatched up by the crocodile infested waters. Those who do make it across safely, face the threat of lions, cheetahs, leopards and other carnivorous predators.

During my stay in Kenya, I made a trip to the Masai Mara to witness this spectacle first hand. My three day tour did not disappoint. This video profiles those three days and my look at The Great Migration.
