Another week, another travel blog round up.

I came across more great content this week then before. Perhaps it’s that I’m actively keep an eye out knowing that when Sunday comes around I’ll need to put this post together.

This time around around, we’ve got a girl falling off a camel, a colourful parrot, a Cambodian temple story and a spectacular monkey shot!

Let’s get started:

KICK THE GRIND’S BEAUTIFUL
PREAH VIHEAR TEMPLE VIDEO

I’m a huge fan and supporter of Mike Corey’s videography and storytelling abilities. His site, Kick The Grind, aims to encourage people to step out of their daily routine and explore the world around him.

This video, which was filmed the Preah Vihear Temple in Camodia, cannot be put into words. Titled ‘The Whistle’, this video is worth the watch. Be sure to also check out his site to see his other work as a travel videographer and storyteller.

MACAW PARROT PHOTO

I’ve never quite seen a parrot shot like this one, but Marcello had his camera ready to go at the perfect time.

The image to the left is just a same of the full photo and honestly, it doesn’t begin to do it justice.  The colours in this bird are so rich. Check out the whole shot here.

When you visit Marcello’s blog, be sure to snoop around and check out his variety of content from South America and Africa. He was one of the first travel bloggers to visit the world’s newest country, South Sudan – and boy, does he have the stories to go with it!

JUST TRAVELOUS’S
‘I FELL OFF A CAMEL…TWICE’ VIDEO

I’ll admit I’m new to the blog Just Travelous, but when I saw her caption about how she fell off a camel twice, I had to watch it myself!

I’ve never ridden a camel and after seeing this video, I’m not in a rush either. Still, Yvonne manages to keep it classy – if that’s even possible in the scenario. I give her props for trying it twice, the question however is if she was successfull the third time.

When this photo popped up in my Facebook feed this week, I knew I HAD to include it. Like the parrot photo, this is only a snippet of the entire shot – and it doesn’t do it justice. I’ve only included a portion of the photo because of course, you should visit the actual post to see it.

Jaime, the guy behind Breakaway Backpacker has just arrived in India and his posts, like the one I am featuring here, remind me of many of my own experiences in the Indian Subcontinent. Thanks for sharing this incredible shot Jaime! Good eye!
