I recently had this fantastic video shared with me that was featured on the website of the Toronto Star, Canada’s largest newspaper.
The video, shot at Toronto Pearson International Airport (also known as YYZ), blends footage of planes taking off, maneuvering around the tarmac and still shots of the airport itself.
Although taken on a cloudy day the editor, Randy Risling, tossed in some cool effects to give the film an artistic touch.
It gives an insight into the constant movement of people that an airport facilitates and the extrordinary number of planes that take flight each and every day all over the world.
Did you watch? Did you like it?
I’m sorry…that is way too cool!
…..it does make me think of all the emissions let off by those massive things, though! Usually I’m in one plane at a time, but to see so many all at once makes me hope for some “greener” planes soon!
Neat video. Have you seen the still photo with all the planes taking off at once? It’s somewhere floating around the internet.
@Darren – I can’t wait to see what Green planes look like.
@Ben – Yes, I have. Also very neat. I need to learn how to do that kind of photography.
