Bangkok, Thailand Pt II – The Grand Palace & Reclining Buddha

On my last day in Bangkok, Thailand I did a bit more site seeing. In this video I check out The Grand Palace and Wat Pho aka ‘The Reclining Buddha’.

  1. The Reclining Buddha is huge ~ it must have been spectacular to see in person. The architecture is so incredible as well. Keep them coming, I am traveling vicariously throught you. Will be in Banff next week however. No lying on any beach for us but perhaps jumping in the snow after a sauna. ? Keep safe and keep sending us your clips. They are great.

  2. #1. The palace did have beautiful detail, and the guards WERE interesting!!

#2. The reclining Buddha was insane-o!! Did it move?? I guess that one’s the biggest Buddha out of all so far, and probably will be!! And all made of gold….AMAZING!! When the sign refered to the “Mother of Pearl”, that was the Buddha, right??

Thanks for saving the best of Bangkok for last!!

  3. @Teresa – Thanks Teresa. Oh Snow. That actually sounds refreshing. The Reclining Buddha (aka Wat Pho) was spectacular. The video doesn’t do it justice. Enjoy Banff.
