Wow, 36 countries and more cities than I can count have brought me to Cartagena, Colombia – the final stop of my around the world adventure.
I was looking for the perfect place to finish off and so many people recommended this coastal and extremely beautiful city.
It was also my birthday during my visit so I wanted to be somewhere special.
I truly could not have asked for a better place to wrap up my adventure.
Thank you to all who helped me ring in 23 and end my trip on an absolute high note.

Colombia is one of my favourite countries and definitely a perfect place for a birthday. Hope it was a good one. Feliz cumpleanos!
Colombia seems interesting. I have not been to Cartagena but looks like a great destination. Lots of partying going on which is always great.
Hi Brock! Loving following along with you on your adventures… Ah, vicarious living LOL! I’ve heard so much about Colombia lately, it’s definitely on my radar now!
Hi Brock,
My name is KC Owens, I’m a college student and I love to travel! While cruising the Internet, I found your site and really enjoyed reading your posts. I have been to countries all over Europe with just my backpack and a camera. Since I am a college student and I have significant bills, it can be difficult to find ways to travel the world. However, I have done this several times, with less than ten pounds of luggage and while on a college dime!
I was hoping that you would allow me to write a post for your blog to share my tips and tricks with your readers. I put a lot of time into my traveling, it is my biggest passion and I would love to inspire others by sharing my stories, mistakes and triumphs. I look forward to hearing from you!
Best,
KC Owens
