The first stop of my final country on my around the world adventure was Medellin, Colombia.
Known for its Christmas light displays, Pablo Escobar, and a great nightlife, I was excited to explore the city and kick off my Colombian adventure.
I would also have to opportunity to meet up with two travel bloggers: Dave from GoBackpacking and Michael from Go See Write.
I made the point of stopping in Medellin specifically to meet Dave as he played an influential role in me setting out on my year long RTW trip.
Together we explored the Christmas lights (while riding a tiny, colourful bus) and some delicious Colombian cuisine!
